10 Years ago Unity School opened its doors for the first time.
We celebrated this event on September 21st at the Parish Church Hall in Rustington. A small exhibition and brief presentation, all accompanied by a cream tea was enjoyed. The African Shop selling craft items from Kenya was popular as always. Donations received raised £177 for the work of the Charity.

The blue roof is the new classroom block, the smaller grey L- shaped roof is the first classroom block built in 2009. The brighter roof on the left is the recently re-roofed orphanage. The two linked rectangular roofs are the new toilet block. The small building with rusty roof is the school office – the next urgent re-roofing job to stop the leaks!
Thirty six people sat down to an excellent Curry Night at Monsoon’s Restaurant in Rustington. By the end of the evening, they had raised £750 for the Charities work in Mombasa. Well done everyone.
